His Story: Frankie the Cruelty Survivor

Frankie is a loving and adorable dog who was discovered abandoned along the bustling highway. Frankie had seen more than his fair share of hardship. Abandoned by his owner, he was left to navigate the dangers of the open road alone, bearing a massive, gaping wound on his head—possibly from being hit by someone.

Frankie sought solace by hiding, lost, bewildered, and in pain, unsure where to turn. Fortunately, a trustee from the BCS spotted him, cowering and desperate for safety, and immediately came to his rescue. Frankie found refuge at BCS, where his journey to recovery began without delay.

A necessary surgery followed to suture his head wound, and miraculously, his recovery progressed beautifully. Despite the long journey, Frankie exhibited remarkable patience throughout. This big goofball thrives, having overcome a challenging start to life.

Frankie loves to express himself with barks and is quite vocal, enjoying playful interactions with his dog buddies. He revels in being petted and fussed over. With his health fully restored, Frankie is on the lookout for a loving home. Frankie is just the one for you if you are an experienced lab pet parent.
