Why Donating to Dog Charity Saves More Lives Than You Think: The BCS Pune Difference

Why Donating to Dog Charity Saves More Lives Than You Think The BCS Pune Difference

Many of you who have pets or regularly feed dogs or are animal lovers would understand the joy of unconditional love and loyalty, especially shown by dogs and cats in return for how you have treated them. This kind of love and faithfulness is everlasting and unwavering, even from stray animals on the street. Sadly, however, you still find dogs and cats abandoned, either wounded, sick or old. That’s why donating to dog charities like BCS Pune aids in treating, caring for, and helping dogs lead pain-free and comfortable lives

BCS Pune takes care of in-house dogs and cats and provides care and treatment to other sick and injured stray dogs and cats. Here, we nurture and care for these voiceless animals and provide them with the medical treatment and care they desperately need. These animals are in urgent need, not only of medical attention, but also of love and care. Whether it is a serious skin condition, a life-threatening disease, or an accident case, we provide medical assistance, a safe space, and postoperative care to the dogs and cats in pain and discomfort.

Where Does Your Donation Go?

By donating 5,000 rupees a month to BCS Pune, you can make a significant difference by covering their basic expenses and making their living conditions more manageable. This money contributes to their medical needs, veterinary care, nutrition, food supplies and other living expenses. With experienced vets and trained support staff, ailing or injured dogs are in good hands throughout their stay at BCS Pune.

The donations cover costs of surgeries, X-rays, blood tests and pain medication. It also covers their stay, food and any medical treatment required.

Real Impact Stories: How Donations Save Lives

Dog Story: Renee – The Petite Fighter

Renee a beautiful, friendly and petite girl was admitted at BCS Pune with a severe tail injury.

This friendly dog was sitting by the side of the road when a vehicle ran over her tail. The accident caused her to lose half of her tail, leaving her in immense pain. Onsite treatment was not possible as the bone of the tail was exposed. So, she was admitted at BCS Pune for treatment and care.

Despite her injury, Renee remained calm and cooperative throughout her treatment. As the bone in her tail was exposed, she had to undergo a surgery to cut the bone. The surgery was successful and Renee was on her way to recovery. With daily treatment and care her wound started healing.

Soon Renee healed completely and was fit to go back to her location happy and healthy.

Renee was supported by a kind donor who took care of her surgery and treatment cost. You can also make a difference by providing donation for injured and sick dogs at BCS Pune.
