Our team at the BCS Pune veterinary hospital treats wounds, runs tests and diagnostics, provides vaccinations, and conducts basic services like dental hygiene and tick and flea treatment, among other basic services, for the care and well-being of your strays and pets.

Every dog or cat that enters the BCS Pune veterinary hospital OPD receives undivided care and attention from the medical and support staff.
The BCS outpatient department (OPD) provides FREE treatment for stray dogs/cats and Indian mixed-breed pet dogs/cats. The services included are:
- Disease treatment
- Wound dressing
- Fever
- Parvovirus
- Gastroenteritis
- Vaccination
- Minor injuries
There is a nominal charge for purebred pets (dogs and cats) to support our free services for stray dogs and cats who visit our OPD. We also provide diagnostic services like blood tests and urinalysis, which are charged at nominal rates.
There are no appointments required at the veterinary hospital; however, it is ideal to call prior to visiting to ensure there are no other emergencies.

What cases do we treat in OPD (same-day)
There are a few common conditions and treatments that our veterinarian doctors at the BCS outpatient department (OPD) provide, like dressing of wounds or injuries, checking for fever, testing for gastroenteritis or diarrhoea, parvo, and addressing minor injuries. We also conduct preventative medication and vaccines for dogs and cats, like ARV, 9-in-1 vaccines, parasite control and dental checks.

The rate for 9-in-1 is ₹1,000 for stray dogs, Indian mixed breed pet dogs and purebred dogs. Tricat is ₹1,000 for purebred cats. Tricat is free for stray and Indian mixed breed pet cats as per availability. Please call in advance and check for availability.
Do you do X-rays and blood tests?
Yes, we do provide X-ray and blood test facilities at nominal rates.
